SWAY was tasked with planning the 2010 Daytime Emmys Gifting Suite, set in the historic Hilton Las Vegas on June 26th and 27th. We were given about 3 weeks in total to produce this massive undertaking, and we did it!

A gifting suite is an area, usually set up alongside a major event, where different companies give products to celebrities and well-known personalities in exchange for photos of them interacting with the items, or to introduce them to innovative new merchandise.  There’s usually a red carpet, press, and a step-and-repeat wall (a logo backdrop) at the event as well.

In the short amount of time, we sourced companies to set up tables, booked staffing and entertainment, arranged décor, and built the guest list. In spite of the hectic time-frame and generally busy nature of the event, it is one of my favorites.
